Nejma 5 starts with a fruity top note. A union of fresh, effervescent Italian bergamot and Middle Eastern grapefruit with the gentle scents of peaches and blackberries. The heart notes combine the lush floral harmony of wild narcissus, Bulgarian rose and neroli from Tunisia. This is followed by a more discreet note of OUD wood, sandalwood, Mysore and vetiver bourbon, which has been enriched with amber accents and a spicy “touch”.

NEJMA is the heroine of an old Arabic legend. The name Nejma means “star” in Arabic. More than a name, a myth, a perfume.
On a trip to the Far East, Lise Bischoff, founder of Nejma Perfumes, attends a reading of an old Arabic legend and falls under the spell of her heroine Nejma. This inspires her like a muse to create a new fragrance line. Nejma is a young woman with radiant charm and indescribable beauty. She lives in the Middle East. One day a vizier visits your hometown and gets to know you. They burn in love for each other. But since she is not a princess, her love is rejected and enmity arises between the two families. However, after many struggles, there is finally a happy ending: they get married! Their love produces seven enchanting daughters with unusual and breathtaking beauty. This is the story that inspired Lise Bischoff to create the seven fragrances. They are compositions of different ingredients that all share the preciousness, warmth and charisma of the Oud scent, which gives Nejma its unique charm.
