“I spent three years in the Middle East, where I became increasingly fascinated by the scents I encountered. The air was thick with a luxurious exoticism, rich, complex and full of volume. In over 30 years of learning, I have never encountered a culture that cared so much about perfume - the ritual of scenting oneself is deeply rooted in everyday life. This incomparable experience captivated me and I fell in love with the perfumes of the Middle East and the people who wore them. I created 'United Arab Emirates - The Spirit Of The Union' to express my devotion and as a tribute to this nation's deep-rooted appreciation of perfumes. The bottle is decorated with a lid decorated with Swarovski crystals in the national colors of the United Arab Emirates.” - Roja Dove 

“Bergamot and Artemisia create a fresh cover for a bouquet of jasmine, ylang ylang, geranium and a dominant note of Taif rose. The whole is refreshed by blackcurrant buds and liveliness by a mixture of clove buds, pink pepper and caraway, sublimated by the warmth of guaiac and aoudwood, patchouli, oakmoss and cypriol. The extra delicate, sensual base is formed by benzoin, frankincense, labdanum, cistus and musk.” - Roja Dove
